Read moreWith spring approaching, it's time to think about summer tires, or at least make an appointment to have your summer tires installed.
Replace the tires or not?
Do your tires need to be replaced? This is the first question to ask yourself when the time comes to replace them. Typically, your summer tires will be good for 25,000 to 30,000 kilometers per year, or 3 or 4 installations. That said, there are a host of factors that come into play here.
To find out if you need to replace your tires, you can use a specialized tool or simply check the indicator strip on some tires. You can also use a 25-cent coin by putting the nose of the caribou down the groove of the tire. If you still see the nose, the tire is no longer good.
All-season tires or summer tires?
Your choice will depend on your vehicle, usage, and tires. Generally, a summer tire is better for a performance vehicle or ultimately for more dynamic driving. An all-season tire is often sufficient for the majority of drivers, however, as it offers a better balance of comfort and performance while being better suited to rain or even cooler spring weather.
What is certain is that you should never keep your winter tires on in summer!
Why trust a dealer for your tires?
For starters, you will find a large selection of tires that have been approved for use on Honda vehicles. Then you will find a team of experts who can advise you on the best tires for your specific vehicle. Finally, you benefit from storage and installation services.
