Read moreAnnounced yesterday, the brand-new 2021 Honda Odyssey offers updated styling for the new model-year, advanced safety technologies, and an improved interior as well with higher quality trims and a second-row seat that folds nearly flat for added versatility.
The 2021 Honda Odyssey will go on sale tomorrow with an upgraded suite of Honda Sensing active safety technologies. The adaptive cruise control feature now includes low-speed follow which improves comfort and use in traffic. There’s an improved radar which allows for Pedestrian Emergency Braking and traffic sign recognition as well.
A new rear-seat reminder system alerts drivers to check the back after placing occupants or precious cargo of any kind. The system works through a chime and a notification to check the rear seats after the vehicle has been turned off. The Honda Odyssey was already a Top Safety Pick from the IIHS and a 5-star vehicle from the NHTSA. These latest improvements help propel its award-winning safety up a notch.
Exterior changes include improved LED headlights, and a new front-end design with a redesigned bumper and fog light housings. Inside, the second-row outboard seats can now fold almost flat while the front centre console gets new slots for all of our USB and charging cables.
All 2021 Honda Odyssey trims receive a proven and efficient 3.5-litre V6 with 280 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque paired to a 10-speed automatic. This engine has proven its reliability time and time again and is impressive in every aspect from its smoothness to its power delivery in the city and on the highway.
