Trim options include LX, Sport, EX-L, Touring, Sport 2.0, and Touring 2.0. MSRPs on the 2020 Accord range from $30,145 for the base LX model, to $41,845 for the top of the line Touring 2.0 edition. A 1.5-litre, 192 horsepower, 4-cylinder turbocharged engine powers LX, Sport, EX-L, and Touring models. Touring 2.0 and Sport 2.0 trims get a larger 2-litre, 4-cylinder 252 horsepower turbocharged engine. Transmission options include a 10-speed automatic with grade logic control, a continuously variable transmission, or 6-speed manual transmission. Both transmissions come equipped with touch-of-a-button "Econ Mode" and front-wheel drive configurations.
Every 2020 Honda Accord (excluding LX models) comes with a 10-speaker (plus subwoofer) 452-watt AM/FM Premium sound system that features MP3/Windows Media playback capability. LX editions come equipped with an eight-speaker 180-watt AM/FM audio system, also with MP3/Windows Media audio playback capability. Both systems support Bluetooth calling and streaming, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Siri Eyes Free, HondaLink, and Wi-Fi tethering. EX-L, Touring, and Touring 2.0 trims also come with factory-installed SiriusXM radio.
Remote start, Active Noise Control, a 7" colour TFT meter display with Driver Information Interface, and one-touch turn signals come standard on every 2020 Honda Accord. Other standard or available amenities like heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, and keyless entry and start provide exceptional comfort and convenience on the new Accord, as well.
Standard safety features like 4-wheel Anti-lock Brakes, automatic high beams, and Vehicle Stability Assist with Traction Control make the Accord one of the safest sedans on the road today. The new Accord's driver-assist systems include Lane Keeping Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Departure Warning, and Road Departure Mitigation.
The new Accord comes loaded with standard technologies that other manufacturers consider options. Every 2020 Accord features Active Noise Cancellation, Wi-Fi tethering, and Walk-Away Door Lock. Honda's HandsFreeLink - a bilingual Bluetooth wireless mobile phone interface - employs voice commands and steering wheel-mounted controls for hands-free calling. Other advanced technologies found on the 2020 Accord include Wireless Charging, a multi-angle rearview camera (with dynamic guidelines), Near Field Communications compatibility, and Head-Up Display technology. Touring 2.0 owners enjoy Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation with bilingual Voice Recognition.
A combination of MacPherson struts in the front and multi-link independent suspension in the rear provide exceptional ride quality for the new Accord. Other notable performance features include steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters, electric power-assisted rack-and-pinion steering, and power-assisted ventilated front brakes. The 2020 Accord offers excellent fuel economy on all four engine/transmission combinations. The 2.0-litre engine gets 10.4/7.4/9.1 with the automatic transmission and 10.7/7.3/9.2 with the manual. The smaller 1.5-litre comes in at 8.9/6.7/7.9 for the manual and 7.9/6.3/7.2 for the automatic transmission. For hybrid models, a 2.0-litre i-VTEC 4-cylinder gas engine teams up with a 181-horsepower electric motor for an amazing 5/5/5. All figures are L/100 KM and city/highway/combined.
